Neutron Generators

Adelphi's Highly Versatile, High Output Neutron Generators

Deuterium-Deuterium (D-D) generators are actively pumped and so have replaceable subcomponents, allowing our generators to be maintained indefinitely. All generators are ‘powered’ by a highly reliable, microwave-driven ECR (Electron Cyclotron Resonance) ion source. All of the generators can be operated in a pulsed or continuous mode.

Transportable: DD108

A transportable neutron generator that uses the deuterium-deuterium fusion reaction to produce 2.45 MeV free neutrons. 

High Output: DD109 - DD110

A highly versatile, high output deuterium based, D-D neutron generator. The generator has a long service life and uses safe deuterium gas. 

Integrated Moderators: DD109M & DD110M

Neutron generators that have an integrated moderators that quickly thermalizes these fast neutrons, resulting in a high thermal neutron fluxes.

Sealed DD108.1gs

A sealed DD neutron generator with a grounded target, allowing access to high neutron fluences.
